I dont play many games on my phone but I do play this one when I need to kill time, definitely a good way to waste a few minutes

I really enjoy this game and the diversity in ships. Its really cool they give you test plays with the ships you can purchase Im tempted to buy even though I never pay to play

Could you give the phoenix a chargeable mini version of the phoenix revive where when the bar is full he could activate it like an alpha strike or be activated right before getting a fatal hit. The bar would recharge at the rate of the phantoms hp bar and would be filled by recieving hp(green things dont know correct term).

Whenever Im bored and I need something to do. Ill do one of two things, wait around for whatever Im waiting for, or whip out my phone and play some Phoenix. Its a lovely little time waster that I cant recommend enough.

A lot of action. The sole problem is that theres some projectiles that cant skip

Good way to kill some time. I also really like that it compares scores with local people too.

Great use of in-app purchases, small fee for different models.Vivid detailed graphics, devastating power ups complement incremental firepower increases.Good variety in enemy ships fought against ever changing backdrops, and leaderboards by city all the way to world.Thumbs up!

I have played lots of shooters on all platform an this is one of the best. Different ships make for diversity and replayability, nice difficulty, forgiving im the sense of its not instant death, still very challenging. Graphics are beautiful and controls are responsive. Definitely the best on iPhone. Its only default is the platform: iPhone touchscreen is not as precise as a mouse. Id gladly pay 5times its price for a port on the PC.

The best stand alone game =D

Just updated to the new version, started ok, restored purchases ok, selected my ship, hit Start and it crashes right out to my iPad "desktop" every time. Powered down, restarted, still has the same issue. Exact same problem on my iPhone 5S 64GB also w/iOS8.1.2. Love this game when it works but. If I didnt *have* to give a rating to submit this review I wouldnt even be able to justify a one-star rating.

August 13th update crashes as soon as you press play from upgrade menu.

Its the kind of game that you can play for 5 minutes or an hour. Its been on my iPhone for many years now. I always ended up playing when I dont know what to play. The colors, effects, gameplay are intense. The polish is superb. I expect the BEST and THIS...IS....IT!

You didnt fix anything.

One of those perfect little time wasters. Difficulty increases quickly, a multitude of different ships all with unique characteristics and the location based leaderboards keep me coming back daily

This is a pretty cool shoot Em up game. I wish that it was a standalone and there was no need to connect to the internet. I really love the graphics as well and the ease of use features.

Quite addictive. Graphics are good, gameplay is challenging enough. You can enjoy the game even if you choose not to purchase any upgrades.

i play it a lot, i find the leaderboards a fun competitive feature. i bought all the ships and i think its worth all the money

Only one life?? Too many weapon/energy balls flying around toward you from enemy; some are good, some are bad but its hard to tell which are which. Deleted.
