v2.4.3 crashes on iPad Mini 3 128GB w/iOS 8.1.2

Just updated to the new version, started ok, restored purchases ok, selected my ship, hit Start and it crashes right out to my iPad "desktop" every time. Powered down, restarted, still has the same issue. Exact same problem on my iPhone 5S 64GB also w/iOS8.1.2. Love this game when it works but. If I didnt *have* to give a rating to submit this review I wouldnt even be able to justify a one-star rating.
